The Rexburg Area Chamber of Commerce is once again turning dining out into a friendly competition as its fourth annual Restaurant Rush invites residents to take part in a two-week bingo card challenge at participating restaurants.

BYU honored Jimmer Fredette by retiring his No. 32 jersey during halftime of its men’s basketball game against Colorado, celebrating his lasting impact on the program and his role in leading the Cougars to the Sweet 16 in 2011. The emotional night ended with a 90–86 overtime victory, highlighted by Rob Wright’s 39-point performance and praise from head coach Kevin Young about Fredette’s global influence on BYU basketball.

The crowd-favorite show is an Oscar Wilde play known for its dry British humor.

The Market of Idaho Falls recently changed management, and manager Manny Ibarra wants the market to help small and local businesses branch out to find new customers. The Market of Idaho Falls tries to keep things small so businesses hosted there will not have to compete with each other, and so customers won’t be overwhelmed. The next market will be held this Saturday at Park Avenue Grill in Idaho Falls.

The Rexburg Mobile Food Pantry will be distributing food on Friday, Feb. 20, instead of the third Monday of the month as usual. The Rexburg Mobile Food Pantry uses donations and volunteers to help serve those in need of food every month.

The Upper Valley SAFE Initiative is an effort started by Dean and Kristen Coleman. It is intended to use workshops to inform and educate families, children and the community of safety risks online and in person. The volunteer program uses law enforcement, educational, and health experts to help provide information in their workshops.

Elder Clark G. Gilbert is the newest member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was called on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, and ordained on Thursday, February 12, by President Dallin H. Oaks and the other members of the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.

This semester’s Valentines Ball will offer the students a chance to spend time and unwind with each other to some slow tunes.
