Making Real-World Connections

BYU-Idaho’s Department of Humanities & Philosophy opens the door into the liberal arts. Students gain a greater understanding of culture and connection across multiple academic subjects. Faculty members actively engage with students. They help them learn meaningful skills that educate the entire person, making them adaptable, thoughtful, and productive employees and citizens.

For many centuries, the liberal arts have proven their value in preparing people for successful lives as parents, citizens, or disciples of Jesus Christ. Our programs help students as they enter professional schools such as law or medicine and graduate programs in the humanities and other liberal arts.
