Surgical Scrub Tech for busy Ophthalmology Surgery Center in Idaho Falls
Job Description
· Prepare the sterile field and organize surgical instruments for eye procedures (such as cataract, glaucoma and retina surgeries).
· Assist surgeon during operations.
· Anticipate the needs of the surgeon by passing instruments and supplies safely.
· Clean and sterilize surgical equipment following strict infection control standards.
Requirements / Qualifications
· Certification: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential preferred but willing to train the right person
· Experience: Minimum of 1 year of operating room experience; ophthalmology experience is a strong plus.
· Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
· Skills: Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.
