Job Description
Incredible summer and fall job opportunity driving pickup trucks with great pay while working outdoors in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. Perfect for retirees and those looking for a summer and fall job.
We are hiring for summer & fall, both full or part time positions.The job can be very laid back, low stress, low physical demand, and at times very exciting. You will drive in the most beautiful scenery and be privileged to live and work in the midst of it. You will meet people from all over and have the personal fulfillment of helping suppress wildfires and remedy natural disasters.
Those selected for this job will be supporting Wildland Firefighting in a company provided vehicle. The base of operation will be in Lyman, Wyoming. You do not need to live in Lyman, Wyoming but must be able to travel there when called out for a job and then you will respond in a company vehicle to fire base camps all over in the Rocky Mountain regions (some may be farther away). This job does not involve actively fighting fires on the front line, but rather support operations in the background. However, you will be out and about the fire and the fire base camps driving pickup trucks and doing various light duty and rewarding support activities.
This job pays while on assignment only. So it can also work great if you work another job that will allow you to leave at a moments notice when a fire calls out.

Requirements/Qualifications
● You must be drug free
● at least 18 yrs old
● have a valid driver's license
● Have a good driving record
● be able to safely lift 45 lbs
● speak fluent English
● friendly
● capable of driving safely on mountain and back country roads as well as cities
● change a tire
● be away from home for up to two weeks at a time
● sleep in a (private)tent.
