Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and patient caregiver to assist an 83-year-old male with basic daily activities. The primary goal is to help him maintain a safe, fulfilling, and productive lifestyle while supporting his independence. This is an occasional, part-time position ideal for someone dedicated to senior enrichment and safety.
Daily Living Support: Assist with dressing, grooming, and mealtime preparation or eating.
Mobility Assistance: Provide steady guidance and support during walks and transfers to ensure fall prevention.
Communication & Engagement: Engage in meaningful conversation, support communication exercises, and provide social companionship.
Productive Living: Help him engage in hobbies, light exercises, or daily routines that promote a sense of purpose.
Safety Monitoring: Maintain a hazard-free environment and closely monitor his well-being during shifts.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Senior Care Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience working with elderly clients or in home health, preferred.
- First Aid & CPR: Active certification to handle any sudden medical emergencies.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to assist with transfers, steady him while walking, and prevent falls.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to speak clearly, listen patiently, and adapt to his communication pace.
