Job Description
Help my wife and I with garden, yard chores and exterior maintenance. Projects vary in scope depending on skill level and time of year. They might include helping to prep, plant and maintain flower and vegetable gardens, trimming trees, mowing, weed-wacking, raking leaves, power washing, staining, painting, weeding, stacking wood etc.
Requirements / Qualifications
Hard working, honest, dependable, compliant with work rules, like wearing safety glasses when appropriate. Past experience in landscaping, farming, carpentry or similar work a big plus.
Start Date
As soon as hired. Estimate April 10
Duration / End Date
TBD. Week to week as needed but available through the fall of 2024.
Hours
As works for both our schedules determined week to week. About 25 hrs/mo. on average. Often 8 to 4 on a Sat.
Pay / Wage
$12 - $ 15 Hr. depending on skills / experience

Our house (the work) is in Blackfoot, so the successful candidate(s) need to have appropriate transportation. I will be looking to hire 2 people if possible, one as the primary and a second that would be available as needed. My wife and/or I are usually out working as well providing direction, etc. We like to take a 45 min. lunch break, so bring what you want for lunch, but the lunch time is paid time. Over the past years, we have had several BYUI students work with us here and I have frequently been able to provide references.
