Job Description
Supports English Language Learners by working closely with the ELL Teacher to provide academic, language, and classroom support. Assists students with understanding lessons, completing assignments, developing English language skills, and participating successfully in the school environment. Collaborates with the ELL Teacher and classroom teachers to meet individual student needs.
Requirements / Qualifications
• Capable of tutoring academic subjects to small groups of students who have multi-level skills
with the English language
• Knowledge of the Spanish language is helpful but not required
• Paraprofessional: w/32 College credits or Praxis Test (Training Info Available)
