Job Description
We're hiring part-time Community Engagement Interns to help recruit Utah families for our UPSTART Early Learning Program. As an intern, you’ll be a vital connector between Waterford and your local community—spreading awareness, building relationships, and helping families access free educational resources.
Requirements/Qualifications
· Enrolled in a Utah college or university
· Studying Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Child Psychology, Communications, Social Science, Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Media, or a related field
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Must live in Utah
o In order to achieve broad coverage across the state, the program will select approximately one intern from each designated geographic section. This approach helps ensure representation from rural as well as more populated areas.
o Applicants from rural communities are strongly encouraged to apply.
· Must have personal transportation and the ability and willingness to travel around your community/assigned territory.
· Spanish speakers are strongly encouraged to apply
