Job Description
We are registered Angus and Hereford seed stock operation. Responsible for the daily care, health, and management of cattle and the general maintenance of ranch facilities and equipment. Duties include feeding and watering cattle, monitoring herd health, assisting with calving, treating sick or injured animals, moving and sorting cattle, maintaining fences and corrals, and completing other day-to-day ranch work.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Ability to work independently, safely handle cattle, perform physically demanding outdoor work, work in varying weather conditions, and be available during busy periods such as calving.
- Valid driver’s license and drug free
- 4-5 years of calving experience.
- Able to operate large equipment, (tractors, loaders, feed equipment)
- Purebred experience is appreciated but not required.
