Chieko Okazaki (Oct 21, 1926 – Aug 1, 2011)

Chieko Okazaki served with Ed Okazaki as leader of the Japan Central Mission, which provided most of the missionary ushers for the Mormon Pavilion at Osaka Expo ’70. An avid journal keeper, she shared excerpts from her journal entries from the expo days. Sister Okazaki served in the General Relief Society Presidency for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1990 to 1997.
