Biography
Tony was raised in the Midwest during the 1980s and ‘90s by an artist mother and a scientist father. He grew up with bike ramps, skateboarding, garage bands, Boy Scouts, BB guns, and Nintendo.
Today, he has a BFA and MFA in graphic design and has over two decades of experience in creative direction, graphic design, illustration, and the visual arts. As the BYU-Idaho Creative Services manager, Tony leads branding initiatives and executive projects, overseeing branding, design, and content creation teams. His expertise includes brand development, user interface and experience design, data visualization, motion design, wayfinding, exhibit design, packaging, and illustration.
In his freelance work, Tony has collaborated with companies like Johnson & Johnson, MassMutual, and Column Five Media. He currently moonlights with the newly formed Mission Identity, focusing on unique brand identities and collateral for B Corp and nonprofit organizations. Beyond his commercial work, Tony is deeply immersed in visual art, exploring mediums like drawing, watercolor, collage, cyanotype, printmaking, and bookmaking.
