Samuel Clay graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor's degree in Accounting. He continued his graduate studies at Brigham Young University, earning master's degree and doctorate in Psychology.
Dr. Clay served as an adjunct professor and teaching fellow at Morehead State University, Heartland Community College, and Illinois State University. He lead the Consumer Analytics Group as a vie president and chief operations officer. In 2002, he joined the faculty in the Department of Psychology at BYU-Idaho. He had served as the department chair from 2007 to 2013.
