Ron Kinville graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor's degree in construction management. He continued his graduate studies at Eastern Kentucky University, earning a master's degree in security and emergency management, followed by a doctorate degree in leadership and learning and instructional design from Aspen University.
Dr. KInville worked as a technician and plant manager for several high tech and manufacturing companies. In 2008 he joined the faculty in the Department of Design and Construction Management. In 2012, he returned to the construction industry, serving as a safety manager and later as a lecturer at the University of Idaho. He returned to the faculty in the Department of Design and Construction Management in 2013.
