Rachel Hurst teaches mathematics in the Academic Success & Tutoring Department at BYU-Idaho. Rachel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Utah State University. She went on to teach trigonometry as a graduate student instructor at Indiana University Bloomington. In 2010, Rachel began teaching algebra at BYU-Idaho as an adjunct instructor. She earned a Master of Education degree in Instructional Design & Education Technology in 2024 from Western Governors University and was hired as full-time faculty beginning in Fall 2025 to teach math classes in the Academic Success & Tutoring Department.
