Paulette Kirkham graduated from Thomas Edison State University in Trenton, New Jersey, with a bachelor's degree in literature. She earned a master's degree in English from National University.

Paulette is a faculty member in the Department of Academic Success and Tutoring at BYU-Idaho, and a director for the Reading Center.
