Bio
Mike Bryan graduated from Brigham Young University in 1976 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and a minor in teaching English as a second language. He taught full time in public schools for 34 years. During that time, he earned first a master’s degree with an emphasis in curriculum and instruction, National Board for Professional Teaching Standards certification, and a doctoral degree in education with an emphasis in adult education. After retiring from regular public schools, he taught in a public charter school for a year, then as adjunct faculty here at BYUI for six years, as visiting faculty for three years, and now as part of the continuing faculty at the university. He loves BYUI and feels that being able to serve here is one of the greatest blessings of his life.
