Kyle Johnson graduated from BYU-Idaho in Elementary Education (2012). He has a deep passion for reading and early literacy. He taught third grade in Madison School District for seven years. Kyle received a master's in educational leadership from Northwestern Nazarene University (2018). He became a literacy Coach and Federal Programs Coordinator for West Jefferson School District (2020). He continued those responsibilities and also became the Principal for Terreton and Hamer Elementary Schools (2021-2024). While at West Jefferson he was also given opportunities to be a basketball and a Track and Field Coach. Kyle over the years has been on many BYU-Idaho advisory boards in the education department, and recently was the local practitioner for BYU-Idaho’s AAQEP Accreditation. Kyle has four amazing kids who like him, love all things sports, especially running. He is excited to be here to be a part of preparing future educators to become Leaders and Disciples of Christ.
