Kristina Horrocks graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Music Arts, followed by a Master of Music. She completed a doctorate degree of Music Arts in Viola Performance, and a Certificate of Graduate Studies in Music Theory Pedagogy, from the University of Michigan-Ann Harbor. She joined the faculty in the Department at BYU-Idaho in 2017.
Dr. Horrocks has performed with several professional orchestra and chamber groups in the United States, Europe, and China. She currently serves as a member of Serenata Strings, a BYU-Idaho faculty string ensemble, and the Idaho Falls Symphony in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
In addition to being an accomplished musician on the viola, Kristina has also written curriculum for BYU-Idaho music students.
