Kirk Ward graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor's degree in microbiology. He then earned a master's degree in microbiology with an emphasis in molecular biology. Kirk currently serves as an adjunct professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at BYU-Idaho.
