Kevin Cooper graduated from the University of California, Davis with a bachelor's degree in clinical nutrition and a master's degree in maternal and child health. He entered a dietetic internship at California State University-Sacramento, followed by a doctorate degree in public health and education and promotion from Walden University.
Dr. Cooper has experience as a clinical dietitian in hospitals and military bases. His work as an adjunct professor of nutrition prepared him to accept a faculty position in the Department of Animal and Food Science at BYU-Idaho in 2020.
