Biography
Meet Kelsie; an educator, creator, performer, and dance enthusiast. Kelsie currently owns and directs her dance studio, Dancer’s Edge Rexburg. She also has the privilege of teaching as adjunct faculty in the Dance Department at Brigham Young University-Idaho. Kelsie is passionate about challenging and encouraging her students to unlock their best work and find bliss in their movement journey. Kelsie loves connecting and collaborating with peers and students choreographically and technically. Kelsie received her BA in Dance from BYU-Idaho in 2017 and danced semi-professionally for two years after her schooling with The Dance Collaborative. Kelsie has received her YTT-200 certification with Yoga Alliance, PBT Certification, Above the BARRE certification, and is currently pursuing an MA in Dance with a concentration in education from Texas Woman's University. When Kelsie is not dancing or teaching, she enjoys traveling, eating as many desserts as possible (brownies are her favorite), and spending time with family and friends.
