Josh Leukhardt graduated from Utah State University with a bachelor's degree in directing and theatrical production. He took his graduate studies to Middlesex University, where he earned a master's degree in directing and theatrical production. Afterwards, he completed a doctorate degree in Asian theatre from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
Dr. Leukhardt joined the Department of Theatre at BYU-Idaho in 2020. He also founded and operates O'Whyhee Sharpens since 2011.
