Bio
Jennifer Jones received her Ph.D. in Special Education from the University of Utah, her M.Ed. in Early Childhood Studies from Boise State University, and her B.S. in Early Childhood/Special Education from BYU-Idaho. She started teaching at BYU-Idaho in 2022. Before this, she was a Career Line Assistant Professor at the University of Utah, supervising early childhood special education candidates in their fieldwork and student teaching experiences in early childhood classrooms. She was also an Assistant Professor at Purdue University Northwest, where she taught courses in early childhood and special education programs and conducted research about teacher preparation and partnering with families. She taught in public schools as a special education preschool teacher and elementary school teacher. She enjoys hiking, riding her bike, and downhill skiing in her free time.
