Jeff Elder earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Utah in 2004. He then started working as a counselor at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, until 2009 when he accepted a psychology internship at Texas A&M University. Once he completed his internship, he worked as a psychologist at Texas A&M University Corpus Christi campus. During this time, he completed a doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology at BYU. After finishing his work at Corpus Christi, Dr. Elder moved to Rexburg, Idaho, to work as a licensed psychologist at BYU-Idaho in 2011. In 2018, he began a consultation practice where he provides counseling services to veterans.
