Jason Rose graduated from Utah State University with a bachelor's degree in mathematics and physics. He continued his graduate studies at the University of Arizona, where he earned a master's degree in applied mathematics, followed by a doctorate degree in mathematics from Idaho State University.
Dr. Rose taught for almost ten years as a professor of mathematics at the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls, Idaho. He joined the faculty in the Department of Mathematics at BYU-Idaho in 2008. Dr. Rose currently serves at the department chair.
