  • Researcher, Center for Brain–Inspired Computing / Nano–electronics Research Laboratory – conducted research on "neuromorphic computing" and adapting machine learning algorithms for A.I. hardware at Purdue University (2015 – 2021).
  • Electronics Engineer, Hill Air Force Base – upgraded the real–time embedded computers on F16 fighter jets (2013–2015).
  • Researcher, Computer Architecture/VSLI BRIDGE Laboratory – conducted research on "Dark Silicon" and heterogeneous multi–core microprocessors to reduce energy consumption and reduce device degradation at Utah State University (2011 – 2013).

Biography

Jason and his wife have five children. He returned to BYU-Idaho after being a student here because of his love for this university. Jason considers himself one of the leading fans of ice cream and the Book of Mormon.
