Bio

As a BYU-Idaho healthcare administration graduate himself (graduated 2012), Greg has enjoyed returning to the university and teaching many of the classes he took as a student years ago. Greg’s experience at BYU-Idaho as a student was life-changing, so when the opportunity to return as a faculty member presented itself in 2019, it was an easy career choice for him and his family to make.

Before returning to BYU-Idaho, Greg worked at several large academic medical centers throughout the country. Most recently he was the Administrator over several surgical and medical specialties at University of Colorado Health (UCHealth). Prior to that role, he spent a couple of years doing similar work at University of Wisconsin Health (UW Health), in addition to completing a two-year Administrative Fellowship at the organization. Greg earned a Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree from Penn State University where he completed an Administrative Residency within the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) health system.

Greg and his wife Jess have four kids. In his free time, he enjoys running, biking, playing sports and being outdoors. He also likes to spend time reading, completing home improvement projects and spending quality time with his family.
