Eric Embree attended Ricks College before graduating from Utah State University with a bachelor's degree in international relations. He continued his graduate studies at Idaho State University, where he earned a master's degree in organizational communication, followed by a doctorate degree from the University of Idaho in adult and organizational learning an leadership.
Dr. Embree joined Ricks College in 1992 as a director of forensics and professor of communication in the Department of Communication. He has made a strong, positive impact on students as the college transitioned to BYU-Idaho.
