Don Bingham graduated from Idaho State University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and teaching. He continued his graduate studies at the University of Idaho, earning a master's degree in educational leadership and administration. He also finished a doctorate in educational leadership and administration from Northwest Nazarene University.
Dr. Bingham worked for several years as an elementary school teacher in Caldwell and Meridian, Idaho. He then served as a school principal and assistant superintendent in the Jefferson Joint School District in Rigby, Idaho. Dr. Bingham joined BYU-Idaho in 2014 as a reading center director, followed by an Academic Tutoring and Success Department chair until 2023. He currently serves as a faculty member in the reading and college success area of the campus tutoring center.
