Education
Attended BYU where he received a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's degree in religious education. He later earned a doctorate degree from Washington State University in Educational Leadership.
Interests/Family/Professional Development
Joined the BYU-Idaho religion department in 2011. Previous to this assignment, he taught with Seminaries and Institutes in Utah and Washington. Enjoys hiking and camping, playing and listening to good music, but mostly anything he can do with his family. David and Catherine are the parents of four children.
Courses Taught/Teaching Experience
Teaches a variety of subjects and courses including those on ancient scripture, doctrines of the restoration, Christian history and world religions.
