Darin Merrill is a professor of medieval English literature at BYU-Idaho. Darin attended Ricks College before graduating from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, with a bachelor's degree in political science. He continued his graduate studies with a master's degree in early British literature from BYU, followed by a doctorate degree in medieval British literature from Arizona State University.
Dr. Merrill has served as as an adjunct professor at Utah Valley University and Mesa Community College. She served as a full-time faculty at BYU for a year and as a faculty associate at Arizona State University while completing his doctorate. He joined the Department of English at BYU-Idaho in 2002.
