Curtis Castillow graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, with a bachelor's degree in psychology. He continued his graduate studies at Utah State University, earning a master's degree and a doctorate degree in instructional technology and learning science.
Dr. Castillow taught seminary and institute classes for over 20 years in the Church Educational System. He joined the faculty in the Department of Religious Education at BYU-Idaho in 2013, where he has also served an an associate dean in the College of Education and Human Development.
