Before joining BYUI, Camille Cureton dedicated 29 years to public education, with experience spanning various school districts such as Sugar Salem, Jefferson, West Jefferson, and Notus. Her instructional background encompasses teaching across grades 1-8, complemented by administrative roles overseeing Preschool through 12th grade and online high school and alternative high school programs.
Camille completed her education with an associate degree from Ricks College and a bachelor’s degree from Lewis Clark State College. She continued her studies at Northwest Nazarene University, where she obtained a master’s degree in Educational Leadership (M.Ed.). She later pursued additional education, earning an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Camille embraces the role of a proud parent to three children and two daughters-in-law, and a grandparent to three grandchildren. She and her husband love to travel, explore culinary “First Bites,” and cherish valuable moments with their family—no matter where they are.
