Cameron Robins graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, with a bachelor's degree in media arts. He also earned a MBA from the University of Utah's David Eccles School of Business.
Cameron began is professional career in film while completing his graduate studies, working as a video producer for BYU. After graduation, he served as a director, editor, and video shooter for Park City Television; a producer and editor for KJZZ-TV; a web, mobile, exhibit, and marketing production manager for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He then started his own start-up video production company, called Robins Wing Productions, focusing on corporate training videos. He joined the faculty in the Department of Communications at BYU-Idaho in 2018, where he teaches film with a religious emphasis.
