Becky Roesler is a Professor of Violin and Music Education at BYU-Idaho. She earned bachelor's and master's degrees from Brigham Young University and a doctorate in Music and Human Learning from the University of Texas at Austin.
Dr. Roesler has presented original research at the National Association for Music Education, the American String Teachers Association, and International Research Symposium on Talent Education. She has also published articles in the Journal of Research in Music Education, Journal of Music Teacher Education, Music Educators Journal, and American String Teacher.
Becky has also performed on violin and viola with the Interlochen World Youth Symphony and the Orchestra at Temple Square. She has conducted musical compositions with the BYU Philharmonic Orchestra, BYU University Orchestra, BYU University Strings, and Mountains and Strings chamber orchestra in Idaho.
