Bio
Amy Clark earned a doctorate degree with a focus on reading, literacy, and assessment, a master’s degree in early childhood special education, and a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She taught young children in preschool, kindergarten, first, and third grades for seventeen years in Phoenix, Denver, and Idaho Falls before coming to BYU Idaho in 2015. Amy's educational focus is on literacy instruction. She loved teaching children to read and now enjoys sharing her love of reading with future teachers. Amy enjoys climbing mountains, rowing down rivers, and being in the outdoors with her family.
