Aaron Meacham teaches Health Communications and International Health at BYU-Idaho. His interest in public health came from learning about emergency response as a undergraduate at BYU-Idaho. He went on to complete a Master's in Public Health degree from BYU in Provo, Utah. in 2007. Afterwards, Aaron completed a doctorate at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City in 2014. He then worked for several years with Latter-day Saint Charities providing public health services before moving to Rexburg, Idaho, where he has been a part of BYU-Idaho's Department of Health Services since 2017.
One of the great benefits of public health, says Dr. Meacham, is that it is so diverse.
