BYU-IDAHO SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA PRESENTS AN EVENING OF ROMANTIC MASTERWORKS

Join the BYU-Idaho Symphony Orchestra on Thursday, February 12 at 7:30pm in the Barrus Concert Hall for Liszt’s Les Préludes and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony #5, directed by Dr. Dallin Hansen.

Audience members will enjoy Les Préludes (“The Beginnings”), considered the first piece to be called a symphonic poem and Liszt’s most famous. The concert will end with a favorite of many, Tchaikovsky’s Symphony #5 which expresses “ultimate victory through strife” and carries a distinctly Russian flavor throughout its themes.

Tickets are $8 / $5 for students and available through the BYU-Idaho Ticket Office. Event dress is requested.
