A Step fitness class involves performing aerobic exercises using a raised platform or "step" to enhance cardiovascular health and strengthen lower body muscles. Participants engage in various choreographed routines, stepping up, down, and around the platform to a rhythm, which helps improve coordination and endurance. The class typically includes a warm-up, a main workout phase with step patterns, and a cool-down segment to stretch and relax. BYU-I approved clothing is required.
