High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is a workout method that alternates between short bursts of intense exercise and periods of rest or low-intensity recovery. It is designed to maximize calorie burn, improve cardiovascular fitness, and boost metabolism in a shorter amount of time compared to traditional steady-state exercises.
Fitness activities and groups on campus are led by student instructors at BYU-Idaho. The HITT Fitness class will feature multiple styles and types of workouts per instructor. Make sure to register on I-Belong before the class begins. Please wear BYU-Idaho approved exercise clothing.
