Discontinuance Deadline - The last day to withdraw completely from all Second Block courses for Fall Semester 2025 to receive a “W” grade and not grade earned is December 4th, 2025.
A "W" counts as a withdrawn class on academic transcripts. Withdrawn classes do not affect GPA, but will remain on academic transcripts even if class is retaken. Failed classes will affect GPA, but can be retaken at a future semester for a better grade.
Second Block Fall Semester 2025 classes begin on October 29th, 2024. Students have a 36 day window until December 4th to completely withdraw from all classes before the Discontinuance deadline. Withdrawn classes after the Discontinuance deadline will receive the grade earned on transcript. Academic deadlines may differ per semester and academic year.
