Information

For Ticketed Events:                                                                                                                                                                                 Tickets may be scanned upon entry.  Only the first scan of the barcode on the ticket will be admitted.  If you have already scanned your ticket for entry and need to leave for any reason, please have an usher mark or scan your ticket for re-entry.

Each patron entering the building is required to have a ticket.  Children under two years of age generally do not need a ticket; however, many events at BYU-Idaho have an age restriction.  Please check with the Ticket Office or the ticketing website if you are unsure if a performance is appropriate for younger audience members. Tickets may include a Print at Home option, in which case the tickets are emailed to you and can be printed on your home printer.  Please print your tickets before you arrive.  You will receive an email confirmation with the purchase of tickets. This is not your ticket.

Dress Code:                                                                                                                                                                                           Most events in the BYU-Idaho Center request Event Dress. There are two types of recommended attire: Event and           Classroom Dress.  Tickets for the event will specify attire.

Classroom Dress:  Follow the guidelines for ordinary student dress and grooming which can be found at the Dress and Grooming Standards page.

Event Dress:  Men should wear dress pants or a suit with a collared shirt, tie, and dress shoes. Women should wear a modest dress, skirt or dress pants, and dress shoes.

Wheelchairs:
Wheelchairs in the I-Center Ticket Office may be used to assist people to their seats.
Wheelchairs cannot leave the I-Center. Guests need to have their own escort.

It is encouraged for guests to bring their own wheelchairs for travel outside the BYU-Idaho Center. 

Listening Devices:                                                                                                                                                                                    Listening Devices are available through the Ticket Office in the BYU-Idaho Center. Please bring a Photo ID to check out Listening Devices. 

 Animals:                                                                                                                                                                                              "BYU-Idaho reasonably accommodates persons with disabilities who require the assistance of service animals. A service  animal that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability is allowed.  Pets and comfort (therapy) animals are not permitted on University property. Students and employees are required to  abide by the animal policy and practices outlined at www.byui.edu/disability-services/animal-policy."

First Aid:
There is a First Aid office located in room 248 in the BYU-Idaho Center. This is on the second floor, closest to the south entrance across from the Ticket Office.

Lost and Found:                                                                                                                                                                               When items are lost, they may be immediately fount in the Ticket Office. Following the performance lost items will then be placed at the Manwaring Center Information Desk. For more information, please visit http://www.byui.edu/support-center/lost-and-found

Safety and Security:                                                                                                                                                                           The University maintains a 24/7 security service.  Pictures and Recordings:                                                                                                                                                                  For most events there is NO picture taking or audio or video recording. If you have questions, contact the Ticket Office at  the time of the event.

Performance Time:                                                                                                                                                                                                The Auditorium doors open one hour before showtime.  Seating is not released in the BYU-Idaho Center.   We encourage  you to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to an event to ensure you are in your seat at the proper time.  Parking can be difficult  to find near the start of a performance.      
  

 Proper Etiquette:                                                                                                                                                                                We wish for every guest to have a wonderful, unforgettable experience during their visit. To provide that assurance, all  noise-making devices (e.g cell phones) are to be turned off. Guests should remain seated during all productions while  keeping chatter to a very minimal level. If you need to leave the venue for any reason, please do so in between songs,  scenes, performances, etc.

 Cough drops and other noises made by food or beverage consumption can also be a distraction, so we ask that you keep  this in mind during the show. Food and drink is not allowed in the BYU-Idaho Center.                                                                                                                                                             

Theatrical Haze:                                                                                                                                                                                   Events in the BYU-Idaho Center do not use Smoke or Haze. If you have special concerns, contact the Ticket Office at (208) 496-3170 before purhasing tickets for the event.
