Register for Get Connected to be placed in an I-Team and receive a Get Connected wristband. The wristband is required for free entrance to Get Connected events and new student meal.

Use this time to take care of student services such as buying books, paying tuition, getting an I-Card, etc. Most of the pay services can be taken care of online before coming to BYU-Idaho.

New Student/Parent Luau

Friday, September 13, 2019 in the Manwaring Center Grand Ballroom and Crossroads dining area.

Come and enjoy great food while experiencing the beauty of Polynesian dancing (including fire dancing) provided by Ailine's Touch of Polynesia at the New Student/Parent Luau on Friday, September 13, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. in the Manwaring Center Ballroom.

Ailine's Touch of Polynesia, based in Salt Lake City, Utah has traveled and performed throughout the United States for more than two decades. Tickets are $18.00 per person. They need to be ordered by September 9th by 5:00 p.m.

The meal includes:

  • Kaula Polynesian Chicken
  • Kalua Pork
  • Green Beans
  • Garden Salad
  • Hawaiian Rolls
  • Fried Rice with Ham
  • Lemon/Chocolate Lush (dessert)

are no gluten free or other special dietary needs options available. Food lines will form in the South Crossroads section of the Manwaring Center (MC).

Live performance will be held in the MC Ballroom with video overflow in the North Crossroads section.

Ages: Children ages 4+ need a seat, which requires ticket. No children 3 and under allowed.

Main seating is in the MC Grand Ballroom. When the ballroom is full overflow seating will be available in the adjoining Crossroads dining area where the same meal will be served and the fire dancers and festivities will be projected live on the bigscreen. Print-at-Home and Mobile delivery are not available for this event. An actual physical event ticket is requried. Will call and mail delivery are the only options available if not purchased in person.

New Student Service Project

Start your semester off right. Students join us for the New Student Service Project. We will be assembling hygiene kits, braiding jump ropes and making  plarn for plastic sleep mats.
