• A "W" grade is recorded on your academic record if you withdraw from individual classes after the "Drop Deadline" but before the "Withdraw Deadline".
  • "W" grades are also recorded if you withdraw from all classes after the "Drop Deadline" but before the "Discontinuance Deadline".  
  • "W" grades are not calculated into your grade point average (GPA).
  • "W" grades remain on your transcript even if you take the same class again at a later date.
  • A "W" grade lowers your SAP (Satisfactory Academic Progress) percentage.  A low cumulative SAP percentage may impact your ability to receieve Federal Financial Aid.  Contact 208-496-1600 with Financial Aid questions.
