Summit Spine and Sport Chiropractic is hosting its fifth annual Bump Night Out! This time they’ve changed venues. The event will be hosted at The Zone in Rexburg Friday, March 29 from 6 to 9 p.m.
“We want to help everyone in general know what the benefits of chiropractic care are but especially pregnant women,” said Dr. Kimball Arritt. “There’s a lot we can do in the chiropractic profession to help out with those problems to mitigate those problems to make the labor and delivery process and even just the pregnancy process so much easier.”
Summit Spine and Sport offers free consultations. At the event you can enter to win free examinations.
The night will also feature over 50 vendors with almost every vendor having it’s own raffle. There will be games, free Dole whip, plus the whole event is free.
Most of the vendors are pregnancy focused. WIC will also be there to offer information.
Dr. Arritt said the evening is a great opportunity to get items off of your shopping list all in one location.
It also provides the opportunity for pregnant moms to get pampered.
“Pregnant moms can’t get full body massages typically,” Dr. Arritt said.
The Rexburg College of Massage Therapy will be in attendance offering free massages.
The way the evening works is you show up and get a free Dole whip voucher at the door. On the back of the voucher is a list of the vendors. You have to visit the 20 featured vendors and five more of your choice in order to turn your voucher in for free Dole whip and a chance at the grand prize.
“It’s mainly a night of you go and visit whatever booths you want and the featured ones if you want free dole whip,” said Danielle Lloyd, the practice representative. “You just kind of experience every vendor. It’ll be really fun.”
There will be two grand prizes. The first is a nicer-end diaper bag and the second is still undecided. Dr. Arritt said it will be something on the pricier end of things. They’ve done pack-n-play’s before with bassinet inserts and stroller car-seat combos. Whatever they settle on it’s sure to be something every new mom needs.
