BYU-Idaho provides students with resources to help them succeed in college. Some of these resources include free tutoring, skills classes and academic advising. One of the lesser-known resources is the Study Buddy program run by the Reading Center.

Student tutor and manager Abigail Cardone is in charge of publicity and new student tutor training.

“The Study Buddy program, I think, is one of the best-kept secrets on BYU-Idaho’s campus. A lot of people don’t know anything about it,” Cardone says.

The Study Buddy program pairs skilled tutors with students. Partnerships meet regularly, and the tutor can help the students stay organized and prepare for their courses throughout the semester.
