Despite being over 30 years old, and having mixed feedback on recent releases Star Wars has remained an immovable and beloved piece of pop culture. Star Wars remains so relevant that May 4th is celebrated around the world as Star Wars Day.
BYU-Idaho is celebrating with a 3D printing event in the David O. McKay Library. Rebecca Dorney the MAC-lab supervisor, has plenty of plans for the event, from photos with Chewbacca to 3D prints of key-chain lightsabers, ships and other objects from a galaxy far, far away.
