Every year, the Rexburg Area Chamber of Commerce organizes a Veteran’s Day memorial ceremony. This year, the ceremony was held at Madison High School.
The ceremony included the high school band and choir as well as BYU-Idaho ROTC members and the Madison Fire Department Pipe Brigade.
Local businesses donated wreaths that will stay at the Veterans Memorial at Smith Park in Rexburg. The businesses were recognized at the ceremony for their contribution.
Local veterans were invited to stand and be recognized for their service while their service song was played.
Veterans Day was on Sunday, November 11, and federal, state and city governments observed the day on Monday.
