Tomorrow, June 20, people can take advantage of a free pancake breakfast at the Legacy Flight Museum in Rexburg.
As an early Father’s Day gift to our local fathers, the museum plans to serve a free pancake breakfast, as well as host a very small air show for anyone who wants to attend.
Shawn Bagley, whose family owns the museum, said they wanted to do a larger airshow, but had to postpone it until next year due to COVID-19.
“We weren’t able to have a [full] airshow due to COVID, but we were able to have the pancake breakfast,” Bagley said.
Social distancing will also be in place to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and other germs.
There will be fewer chairs at the tables, and servers will be cautious with how they serve the food.
The event lasts from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. tomorrow.
Bagley said the unique planes at the museum provide a great opportunity for residents of the area to see vintage planes and enjoy the history on display there.

“You all still have the ability to get together and see some airplanes fly…it’s a great opportunity,” Bagley said.
