“When your entire family is into music and talented, it’s hard not to pursue it in some form or another.”

Yahosh Bonner is the son of Harry and Debra Bonner who started the Debra Bonner Unity Gospel Choir in Utah years ago. Yahosh grew up singing and performing with the choir and other members of his family.

A lot of Yahosh’s music is written by his brother, Junior Bonner. The Bonner family often performs and records together. Harry and Debra were Southern Baptist missionaries in Africa before being taught by missionaries from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They were baptized and moved to Utah. Yahosh says his faith in the Gospel of Christ has influenced his music.

“I choose every song based on faith,” said Yahosh. ”I’m hoping that people get the message that I want them to hear but more importantly I want them to be open to the message our Heavenly Father wants to hear and are moved by the spirit.”

You can find Yahosh’s music on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Music.  Click below to hear the full podcast episode.
